My uncle in this class, Angelo Leonetti, was with the 348th Bomb Group, Sqd 714. Shot down over Augsburg, Germany on April 16, 1945. One of 2 survivors of a B24J. Captured and taken to Stalag VII A. Freed on April 29 by 14th Armored Division at Moosburg.
