Very interesting calendar - I had an uncle who served in China with the 118th TRS 23rd FG from 1944 - 1945.

Very interesting March notations. I spoke at length with the 1st Shirt of the unit at Kunming as noted on the Vargas March. His name was Walt Khrone. He was a civilian pilot and later flew C-46's over the hump. Wally passed away several years ago in Florida, one of the great unsung heros of the Kunming express.
