Gunnery school , summer 1943; Our crew flew a new B-24 Liberator from Bangor Maine, Gander Lake Newfoundland, Azores, Marrakech, Morocco to Bari, Italy, Oct. 19 43. my age then 18 and now 90 ; 35 combat missions. May 17, 2016 Honor Flight Tri- State , Mouments

My father Floyd Byfield attended Tyndall Gunnery school. His class was 43-42. Can you enlighten me as to what 43 is and 42 is? I think it stands for 1943 and class #42. And can you tell me the graduation date? Thank you, Ted Byfield
