The original owner of this book is my uncle Clifton Leroy Grimm Jr. He did indeed go on to fly in B17 bomber in World War II. He passed away when I was a child. I have been researching my familiy's history for some time. I happened across this website doing a search for his father, of the same name, Clifton Leroy Grimm Sr. I would like to know if this book is for sale and how much it would cost for me to purchase the one owned by my uncle, Clifton Leroy Grimm Jr. Thank you very much. By the way, how did you come to know it was owned by him at one time?

Thank you so much for posting these!
My dad trained at Sioux Falls in 1942, and I haven't been able to find his class book... but this is great!

My dad, Sgt. John K. Lloyd was a radio instructor at the Sioux Falls Radio School 1942 to early 1944. They he went to India to Fly the Hump as a Radio Operator in c-54's. He met my mom, Shirley Smith at the base she worded at the soda fountain show in the book about the base- "Reveille Sioux Falls". Good book about the base and time.... Wish I could learn more about my dad and the base, he died when I was 18! ANY info or leads would be great.

My uncle attended Radio School from March 1943 - September 1943, then went on to Gunner's school. He was killed in action in mid-1944, however I recently located all his letters home and am working on documenting them - possibly for a book. So doing a lot of research. Great info in this book, it'll come in handy.
Thanks - Marty
