My Mother, Jo Flaherty, was enrolled at the University at this time. She belonged to the Alpha Phi Sorority, whose sorority house was requisitioned for Cadet housing. she married a local fellow, my father (also an Army Air Corps Pilot), upon his return after the War. She related that the co-ed student population was very happy to have these boys come to Missoula, for most of the able bodied fellows had gone off to war. I would imagine these Cadets were just as pleased!
