317th Army Air Forces Flying Training Detachment. Class 44-D was scheduled to be the last class trained in primary flight at Curtis Field. The school changed to a basic flight school.

I was in the class of 44D, and I took Primary And Basic at Curtis Field. Those were happy and exciting times for me, never to be forgotten.
