Wilburn E. Furr is in this book. He went on to serve as a pilot in the 487th Bomb Group at Lavenham, England. He was killed in action due to a midair collision during the 487th Bomb Group mission to Bielefeld, Germany on September 30, 1944. He is buried at Oakwood Cemetery in Concord, North Carolina. See:
