My dad served in China during WWII. I am trying to build a total history (a journal/timeline if you will)from the time he reported to duty on Dec. 22, 1942, until the time he was officially released on Jan. 7, 1946. According to his enlisted record, it says my dad was part of the 23rd Fighter Control Squadron, and I know he was also tied into the 14th Air Force CBI from the AF patches my dad showed me. He was a radio operator, and radio mechanic C.N.S., repaired, set up & operated DF homing radio stations. Installed and repaired different types of aircraft radios. Maintained voice communication from ground to air. Where else can I look for information? Thanks

A great resource.
Please let me know if you ever add any documents covering the 4th Air Depot Group, regardless of how small the document is
